These are some frequently asked questions about our custom tour packages. Learn more about our booking process and cancellation policy.
Booking and Payment Policy
- At the time of registration, Machupicchu Sacred will send you a form and a registration form, which must be completed. The reservation of the corresponding services becomes effective upon return of the form duly completed, signed and with the payment of a deposit of 70% or 50% of the total amount of the trip (as agreed with your travel consultant).
- The total balance of the trip amount must be paid no later than 30 days before the start date of the trip.
Cancellation Policy
If you cancel your trip for personal reasons:
- 60+ days before: 15% retained (excluding fees & flight/train costs)
- 31–59 days before: 30% retained
- 15–30 days before: 50% retained
- 8–14 days before: 75% retained
- 7 days or less: 100% retained
Inca Trail bookings: $250 USD non-refundable
Machu Picchu entrance: Non-refundable & non-transferable
If someone from your group cancels, the trip price will be recalculated based on the new group size. You can either:
- Accept the new rate, or
- Cancel under the terms above.
