During these two days, you will visit the most important attractions of the Colca Valley, including:

Transportation from Arequipa to the valley, with stops at natural viewpoints such as the Aguada Blanca National Reserve with vicuñas and panoramic landscapes at almost 4800 meters above sea level.
Overnight stay in Chivay or similar, in a comfortable hotel to rest after the first day of exploration.
Breakfast the next day before leaving very early for Cruz del Cóndor, the privileged viewpoint for observing the Andean condor in flight over the canyon.
Stops in picturesque villages such as Yanque, Maca, and Antahuilque; visit colonial churches, agricultural terraces, and archaeological sites on the edges of the canyon.

DAY

Chivay - Hot springs

At 7:30 a.m., we will begin the tour by picking you up from your hotels and departing from Arequipa for Pampas Cañahuas. During the trip, which lasts about 2 hours and 30 minutes, we will be able to appreciate beautiful Andean landscapes and see herds of vicuñas in their natural habitat. We will make a brief stop at the Mirador de los Volcanes to enjoy a breathtaking view.

We will continue on to Chivay, where we will have lunch and check into our lodging. In the afternoon, we will visit the hot springs to relax, and then return to the hotel. As an option, you can attend a dinner show with music and dances typical of the valley.

Colca Canyon and flight of the condors

After breakfast, around 6:30 a.m., we will depart for Cruz del Cóndor. During the trip, accompanied by our guide, we will enjoy the landscapes of the valley and the Colca River, and learn more about the history and culture of the ancient inhabitants of the area.

Upon arriving at Cruz del Cóndor, we will have time to admire the impressive view of the canyon and, with luck, see the majestic flight of the Andean condor. We will also be able to explore the surroundings and take photos of the landscape.

On the way back, we will stop for a traditional lunch. Before returning to Arequipa, we will visit some traditional villages and colonial churches and make optional stops to continue learning about the area. The tour ends with a transfer to your hotel in the city.
