The tour begins when our transfer picks you up from your hotel to take you to the starting point. We have two schedules: the morning shift, which starts at 09:00 a.m. and the afternoon shift, from 2:00 pmWe will start at the QoricanchaTemple , also known as the Temple of the Sun.
This sacred precinct, dedicated to deities such as the Sun, the Moon and the Rainbow, is famous for its perfectly assembled walls that have resisted earthquakes for centuries.Afterwards, we will board our transportation to go to Sacsayhuaman, an imposing fortress located 3 kilometers from the city. From its zigzagging terraces, made of huge limestone blocks, you will enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of Cusco.
Continue to Qenqo, a mysterious ceremonial center known as the “labyrinth”. Here you will explore rock sculptures, a semicircular amphitheater, a central monolith and a cavern with ceremonial tables that will connect you with Inca mysticism. The tour continues to Puka Pukara, the “red fortress”, a strategic site used for the control and defense of access to the imperial city, which combines enclosures, aqueducts and interior plazas.
Finally, you will visit Tambomachay, a place dedicated to the cult of water, known for its sophisticated water system and nicknamed the “baths of the Inca” for its constant water fountains.The tour ends with a transfer to the Plaza de Armas in Cusco, offering an unforgettable experience to learn about the cultural, historical and architectural richness of the Inca capital.
