TRAVEL ITINERARY

01

Arrival in Lima

Arrival at Jorge Chavez International Airport (LIM) in Lima, then transfer to the hotel in the district of Miraflores or Barranco for its proximity to tourist attractions and pleasant atmosphere, then you will have the afternoon free to rest and acclimatize.

02

Ballestas Islands and Huacachina Oasis

Pick up from hotel and departure by bus: 04:30 to 05:30
We start in Paracas, where we will take a boat for the excursion to the “Ballestas Islands”, there you can observe sea lions, pelicans, penguins and other seabirds. At the end we continue with the trip to Ica, where we will do a wine tasting, then we head to the oasis This in itself is amazing, but it gets even better as you have the option to sandboard on some of these huge dunes, this can be exciting and de-stressing and often you will end up with a face full of sand, but a quick shower will fix it, sandboarding is exciting, faster, it is a must for anyone who visits Huacachina, then we will return 21:00 hours approximately.

City Tour Lima

This day we pick you up from your hotel and start the tour, where the first stop we will make will be in the park love the Miraflores boardwalk that has a beautiful view facing the sea, can include visits to places like, Barranco, Huaca Pucllana a pre-Hispanic place the Museum Pre-Columbian Convent of San Francisco, among others then we will go to the main square of Lima where we will walk through the center of the city and also enter a church and its catacombs of the Viceroyalty era.

Flight Arequipa - City Tour

Upon arrival in Arequipa, you will be transferred to your hotel in private transportation. The tour begins at the Plaza de Armas with an explanation of the Cathedral, the portals and the Church of the Company of Jesus. Then, you will visit the Monastery of Santa Catalina, a historic colonial construction. You will continue with a walk through the drums of the city, exploring the Cathedral from the outside and the Cloisters of the Company. The visit will conclude at the Bolivar Bridge, from where you will have a panoramic view of the city, and then return to the Plaza de Armas.

05

Colca Canyon

After picking you up at your hotel, we will travel northeast of Arequipa on the Transoceanic Highway. We will make a stop at the Quiscos Uyupampa viewpoint to appreciate the valley and then visit the Salinas y Aguada Blanca National Reserve, where we will observe vicuñas and local flora. In Patahuasi, we will enjoy a coca tea while contemplating rock formations.

We will continue to the Toccra wetlands to see llamas and alpacas, and then to the Pata Pampa Volcanoes Viewpoint (4910 m.a.s.l.) with spectacular views. We will descend to Chivay for lunch and then relax in the hot springs of Chacapi and Yanque. Finally, in the evening, we will enjoy a dinner with a folkloric show with typical Colca dances.

Colca - Arrival in Puno

The tour starts in Chivay in the direction of the Cruz del Condor. On the way, we will visit Yanque to see its church, take pictures with animals and enjoy a Wititi dance. Then, we will pass by the Achomarca viewpoint, the town of Maca and the Choquetico viewpoint, where we will observe hanging tombs and a litho-model. At the viewpoints of Antahuilque and Wayrapunku, we will appreciate the flight of the condor.

At the Cruz del Condor, we will spend 1 hour and 30 minutes observing the condors and the depth of the Colca Canyon, followed by a 45-minute walk to the Cruz del Cura viewpoint. On the way back to Chivay, we will make stops in Wayrapunku, Antahuilque and Maca before ending the tour in the Plaza de Chivay, where there will be free time before continuing to Puno.

Lake Titicaca and Amantani

Pick up from your hotel at 07:00 am approximately
Lake Titicaca is located in the Andean highlands of the central Andes, a place where the winter cold is present and is very close to the highest navigable lake in the world with an average altitude of 3,812 meters above sea level, and also where the water is fresh, this lake is the largest in South America. We will visit several islands, one of them is the floating island of Uros, which are a native people of the area, whose majority population has settled for centuries in huge reed rafts called “floating islands”, which sail on the waters of Lake Titicaca, and whose language belongs to the Uru-Chipaya linguistic family which we will visit, and then also know their culture on the island Taquile to continue the journey to the island of Amantani.

Route of the Sun

Cusco-Puno, we will leave the city of Cusco at 6:00 am approx.
This day we will head towards the city of Puno. The journey will be by tourist bus with stops in different places. First, we arrive at the town of Andahuaylillas, where we will visit the “Sistine Chapel of America”. There we have lunch, and continue with our visit to Raqchi which was a settlement of Inca houses and temples dedicated to Wiracocha (or Huiracocha), the creator god of the world according to many Andean cultures, also known as Sanctuary built by the Inca Pachacutec in honor of the God Wiracocha. Finally, we will arrive in the city of Puno and transfer you to your hotel, where you can rest.

Cusco City Tour

09:00 or 13:00 (according to choice)
The tour will be done on foot in Cusco: Plaza de Armas, “Cathedral of Cusco” and the Temple of Santo Domingo, Q’oricancha (Temple of the Sun), then we will go to the fortress of the temple of Sacsayhuaman to continue to the archaeological complex of Q’enqo, and continue our journey to the fortress of Puca Pucara continue to the water temple of Tambomachay then we will transfer to the hotel ending the day.

Sacred Valley of the Incas

Start of the tour: 06:00 – End 19:00
First, we will pick you up from your hotel, we will make the arrival to Chinchero where we will start our tour visiting the traditional market, then we will go to, where we will find the impressive salt mines in simulated terraces called the salt mines of Maras and we will also visit the terraces of Moray incredible circular Inca terraces. In addition, we will have lunch in the Sacred Valley of the Incas in the province of Urubamba. Then we head to the fortress of Ollantaytambo and in the afternoon we will take the tourist train to the Aguas Calientes town of Machupicchu where we will spend the night.

Sanctuary of Machu Picchu

The first thing we will do will be the transfer to the buses to the Inca city of Machupicchu that usually operate early in the morning, then we will see how spectacular is the Inca city where you will have the guided tour for 3 hours, for your better understanding of the history, there is also the option of the mountain of Huaynapicchu; also you will have the option to enjoy the breathtaking panoramic views of Machupicchu; later, we return to Aguas Calientes and then we go to the train station to leave. We will be waiting for you to transfer you to your hotel in Cusco.

Mountain of Colors

Pick up from your hotel at 04:00 to 04:30 AM
We will make a first stop in Cusipata, where we will enjoy a buffet breakfast, and then continue with the route of approximately 5 kilometers to the 7 Colors Mountain. The hike is approximately 2 hours, throughout the journey we will appreciate the breathtaking scenery. Upon reaching the top we will observe the wonderful colors of the mountain, we will have some time to enjoy the natural wonder of the mountain of 7 colors whose multicolored shades are due to different minerals. Here we will be able to take a photo session. Finally we will enjoy lunch in Cusipata, and return to Cusco at 17:30 approximately.

Maras and Moray salt mines

Visiting the salt mines is impressive: there are hundreds of white “pools” on which you can walk. Maras is also home to the Moray Archaeological Complex, where circular terraces or “muyus” are sunk into the earth creating different microclimates, in what seems to have been an Inca agricultural experimentation center.

Humantay Lagoon

Pick up from hotel: 04:00am to 4:30am
We will travel by vehicle from Cusco to Mollepata, where we will have breakfast, then we will start the hike that lasts approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to 2 hours from the town of Soraypampa which is located at 3850 meters above sea level, the hike is with a slope having ups and downs. There is also the option of renting horses in case you do not want to walk, the horses will accompany you during the journey. On the way you can appreciate impressive views of the snow-capped mountains of Humantay; likewise you can observe the local flora and fauna, after this rewarding journey we will return to the city of Cusco.

Note: It is recommended to wear warm clothes because the temperature in the area is cold.

Departure from Peru

On this last day of your adventure, we will pick you up at your hotel to take you to the Cusco airport. From there, you will board your flight to Lima, after which we will connect you with your flight to your destination.
