Itinerary Machu Picchu and Humantay Lagoon Tour 6 days
Arrival in Lima
Upon landing at the Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport, we will be waiting to welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in a private vehicle. This day will be ideal to acclimatize to the altitude. You can take the opportunity to stroll through the picturesque streets of the historic center or simply relax at the hotel and prepare for the activities of the next few days.

Exploring the Sacred Valley of the Incas
We will start the day early, between 6:00 and 6:30 a.m., picking you up at your hotel. Our first stop will be Chinchero, a charming village known for its textile traditions and Inca legacy. We will continue to Moray, where you will discover the fascinating circular terraces that the Incas used as an agricultural laboratory, and then visit the Maras salt mines, famous for their production of pink salt.
We will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch in Urubamba, the heart of the Sacred Valley. In the afternoon, we explore the impressive fortress of Ollantaytambo. At the end of the day, we will take the train to Machu Picchu Pueblo (Aguas Calientes), where you will spend the night.

Machu Picchu, the Seventh Wonder of the World
In the morning, we will take the bus to the entrance of Machu Picchu. Once there, your guide will take you on a three-hour tour of this archaeological wonder, showing you the most emblematic corners and explaining the history and culture that surrounds it. You will have time to take pictures and admire the beauty of this unique place.
After the tour, we will return to Aguas Calientes to take the train to Ollantaytambo. From there, we will transfer you back to your hotel in Cusco.

Ascending the Mountain of Colors
We will start our journey very early, between 4:00 and 4:30 a.m., picking you up at your hotel. Our first destination will be Cusipata, where you will enjoy a typical breakfast to fill up your energy before starting the hike.
From the base of the mountain, we will hike for approximately two hours until we reach the top of the Montaña de Colores (Colored Mountain). Here you will be able to marvel at the natural spectacle formed by the mountain’s minerals and capture incredible photographs. After descending, we will have lunch in Cusipata before returning to Cusco in the afternoon.

Hike to the Humantay Lagoon
We will leave early, between 4:00 and 4:30 a.m., to go to the district of Mollepata, where we will enjoy a buffet breakfast. We will continue to Soraypampa, from where we will begin our hike to the Humantay Lagoon.
The ascent, of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, will take us to a beautiful spot surrounded by mountains and with a lagoon of crystalline turquoise waters. Here you will have time to take pictures and relax while enjoying the scenery. For those who prefer, the option of going up on horseback will be available.
After the return hike, we will enjoy a typical lunch and return to Cusco in the afternoon.

Farewell and departure from Peru
