Itinerary 2-day tour of the Uros, Amantaní, and Taquile Islands
Uros Islands and Amantaní
We will pick you up from your hotel in Puno and take you on a short transfer to the port, where we will begin our journey across Lake Titicaca. Our first stop will be at the floating islands of the Uros, a unique place built with totora reeds, where you will learn about the lifestyle of its inhabitants. We will visit several islands and you will have time to walk around, take photos and enjoy the surroundings. Then we continue on to Amantaní, a quiet and authentic island, where local families will welcome us with open arms to share a traditional homemade lunch. In the afternoon, we will climb to the Pachatata viewpoint, from where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the lake at sunset. We will end the day with a cultural evening: music, traditional dances and the warmth of the community will make this night unforgettable.

Taquile Island and return to Puno
After breakfast prepared by our host family, we will depart by boat to Taquile Island. Upon arrival, we will take a leisurely uphill walk to the main square, enjoying the scenery and local life. There we will learn more about the history and traditions of Taquile, famous for its textile art recognised by UNESCO. You will have time to explore and then enjoy a typical lunch with local flavours, such as quinoa soup and fried trout. In the afternoon, we will return to Puno with our hearts full of memories and unique experiences from this tour of Lake Titicaca.
