Inca Trail 2-day trek itinerary
Km 104 - Chachabamba - Wiñay Wayna - Intipunku
Our adventure will begin in Ollantaytambo, where we will board the train to KM 104, the starting point of the short Inca Trail. The first stop will be at Chachabamba, a fascinating archaeological site that we will visit after a short 30-minute walk, where we will discover ancient temples and impressive Inca engineering.
We will then continue on to Wiñay Wayna, on a walk of approximately 4 hours. This place stands out for its terraces and buildings that reflect the harmony between nature and Inca architecture. After lunch, we will ascend to Inti Punku (Sun Gate), from where we will enjoy the first panoramic view of Machu Picchu.
Finally, we will descend to Aguas Calientes, where we will spend the night before visiting the majestic citadel the next day.

Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu - Cusco
Today we will experience the most eagerly awaited moment of the trip: a visit to the wonderful citadel of Machu Picchu. Very early in the morning, we will board the bus to the entrance, a journey of about 30 minutes, to arrive just in time to witness the sunrise over the mountains.
We will enjoy a two-hour guided tour, where we will discover the history, temples, and amazing architecture of this Inca jewel. Afterwards, we will have free time for lunch in Aguas Calientes before taking the train back to Ollantaytambo, and finally the bus that will take us back to Cusco, thus ending an unforgettable experience.
