5-day trek itinerary to Choquequirao
Cusco – Cachora – Capuliyoc - Chiquisca
We will depart early from the city of Cusco and head to Cachora, where we will make a brief stop to enjoy breakfast before beginning our hike to Capuliyoc, surrounded by majestic mountains and snow-capped peaks. At this point, we will meet the mule drivers who will accompany us throughout the four-day journey.
From Capuliyoc, we will be able to admire the impressive views of the Apurímac Canyon and see the archaeological complex of Choquequirao in the distance. Then, we will descend along the edge of the mountain until we reach Chiquisca, a small, cozy village with a warm climate, where we will have lunch and spend the night under a starry sky.

Chiquisca – Playa Rosalina - Marampata
After breakfast, we will descend for about 30 minutes to Rosalina Beach. From there, we will begin an ascent through the canyon, enjoying the warm climate and Andean landscapes until we reach the village of Marampata, where we will camp with a breathtaking view of the Choquequirao archaeological complex.
In the evening, we will be able to admire a beautiful sunset over the mountains and, with a little luck, contemplate the majestic flight of the Andean condor, symbol of the skies of Peru.

Explora Choquequirao
We will start the day early with a cup of coca tea or hot coffee to enjoy the Andean sunrise. After breakfast, we will spend the day exploring the majestic Inca city of Choquequirao, accompanied by our guide, who will tell us its fascinating history and secrets.
Known as the twin sister of Machu Picchu, Choquequirao surprises visitors with its grandeur and beauty. At the end of the visit, we will return to camp for dinner and rest surrounded by a unique natural environment.

Marampata – La Playa – Chiquisca
We will wake up once again in this magical Andean environment to begin a hike filled with breathtaking landscapes. We will descend for about three hours to Santa Rosa (2,230 m), where we will have lunch surrounded by nature. Then we will continue descending for two more hours and finally ascend another two hours until we reach our camp in Chiquisca (1,800 m).
During the hike, we will enjoy the diversity of flowers, birds, and the murmur of waterfalls, a perfect experience to connect with the tranquility of the trail.

Chikiska – Capuliyoc – Cusco
On our last day of adventure, we will have an early breakfast and begin a four-hour uphill hike to Capuliyoc, where we will enjoy lunch and say goodbye to our incredible support team.
Before returning to Cusco, we will visit the archaeological site of Saywite, an enigmatic carved rock that still holds secrets for archaeologists. You will have time to explore this fascinating place before returning to Cusco, arriving at your hotel around 5:00 p.m.
